We are pleased to announce that USS has been awarded a place on the NHS Shared Business Services Framework for Security Services, CCTV and VSS.
NHS hospitals, surgeries, and other public sector organisations face a complex and constantly evolving security landscape. Sites and offices are accessible to a diverse range of users, so it is paramount that staff, patients and visitors are free from risk and feel safe to go to work. Security services, CCTV and video security systems (VSS) protect buildings and valuable equipment too.
The Security Services, CCTV and VSS Framework Agreement has been created to meet all the operational requirements and challenges of operating in both a healthcare and wider public sector environment. It provides the ability to procure responsive and flexible security solutions that can operate in a challenging environment. It also includes a comprehensive safe and effective system of monitoring and supporting lone working staff, including staff call systems.
Framework Details:
Operational Period: November 2024 – 31 October 2028
Eligibility: In addition to NHS trusts, the framework is open to a wide range of public sector organisations, including:

Emergency services
Housing
Education
