Windows Mobile

Data Capture

Capturing data using paper forms and then transcribing the results onto office computer systems is not only error prone it is extremely inefficient, any data collection task can benefit from our computerised solutions. Every remote member of staff can have a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) device (which can also be used as a mobile phone and a vehicle tracking system) that includes the latest version of MobileWorker, which provides real time processing of the data collected by your workforce and instantly updates your existing office computer systems with the results they have obtained. Our systems schedules the service staffs jobs in real time which means their work is planned more efficiently. Additional jobs are allocated intelligently taking into account workers skill sets, location, existing priority bookings and available resources.

The PDA the field service staff use to receive their work is also used to record the relevant electronic job sheet, all data captured, including client’s signatures, feedback forms, etc is then electronically transmitted directly into any back office systems without the need to manually input the data. As data is transmitted to and from the PDA information specific to a job can be sent to the field service worker, such as passwords, schematics for maintenance, repair guides, etc. Our systems also allow for reports to be printed on site, such as gas safety inspection reports (CP12’s).
