Universal Systems Solutions have developed a device that will enable CCTV users
to resolve the perennial problem of tackling ‘Hot spots’ without the time
constraints and expense associated with fibre optic cables. Temporary or Rapid
Deployment digital cameras can now be located until the issue has been resolved
or a permanent camera is installed.
The Multi Communications Gateway (MCG) has been designed to provide complete
flexibility on how to view video data. It has 3 in-built methods of
communication so users can choose the best means for the particular application.
In addition there is a PC hard drive with Milestone software to store and
archive the data as it is recorded within the unit. Therefore the MCG allows
users to record and view images simultaneously.

The 3 means of Communication allow video images to be displayed across JPEG,
MPEG4 and H.264 formats.
For remote locations images can be viewed and downloaded utilising 3G
technology, by using H.264 and low bandwidths this is no longer a cost
prohibitive method for streaming data.
The MCG also has a Fluidmesh unit (refer to our web page)
and a standard WI-FI
card installed so that any existing infrastructures can be used to stream the
data.
The MCG will be used in conjunction with our latest product development, the
fully functional standard street luminaire with built in PTZ digital camera.
Still in prototype format with patent pending watch our news bulletin for
further information.
