Newcastle NHS Trust Choose USS For Proof of Concept - 26/06/02009

NHS Trust employees may soon be able to log onto their secure network whilst working in remote locations thanks to an innovative product, Secure Access, which will be installed by USS.

Secure Access provides two-factor authentication utilising SMS text messages to user’s mobile phones, thereby eliminating the need for tokens with their associated provision and ongoing management costs.

Once the system has been approved by the Trust the system may be rolled out to up to 5000 staff that work remotely from their secure network.

Secure Access is a cost effective solution for all organisations both public and private that require trusted personnel to log onto secure networks.
