Access Control Systems
At USS we can design the right system for your specific application,
from single doors through to multiple fully networked sites we have the
solution.
By utilising Internet Protocol (IP) networks, systems
can be administered from a central point or can be accessed from any PC
within the network. We work with tier one manufacturers who design
products to be backwards compatible and developments generally only
requiring a software upgrade hence your investments are future proofed.
Adding users, barring users and changing users’ access permissions are
all done from a PC quickly and easily. Access permissions may be set
individually or by department. This makes setting up different
permissions for different groups of people quick and straightforward.
Some areas may be restricted to only a certain group of users. Shift
patterns may be set for departments, and those permissions are allocated
instantly when a new user is added.
An events screen allows
viewing of ‘real time’ events as they are happening. Monitor who is
where in a building, who has activated the door, if doors have been left
propped open or a door been forced. Full report suites are also
included.
Systems can be fully integrated into IP CCTV systems,
intruder alarms and lighting and heating systems.
Our systems can
incorporate our client’s choice of access control methods, from simple
proximity readers through to biometric systems such as fingerprint or
facial recognition.
We can also supply automatic barrier systems to control vehicle
access, which again can be integrated with IP CCTV systems and could
also include Vehicle Licence Plate Recognition.
